Greensboro is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Greensboro follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We’re traveling from out of town and wanted to try a local coffee shop, and I absolutely loved this place! Everyone was so nice, and the coffee was great. I had the iced Biscoff latte. I wish I would’ve had the opportunity to come back!

Fig & Olive Cafe is a really nice spot if you’re looking for a light brunch or coffee. Their croissants were honestly great—flaky, fresh, and definitely one of the highlights. The coffee itself was good too, but I’d probably stick to a regular coffee next time instead of one of the flavored drinks. I tried the pistachio latte and it was a bit too sweet for me, and the matcha was just okay. One thing to note is that it shares a building with Nazareth Bread Co., so some of the smoke, food smells, and noise from the restaurant can carry into the café. It doesn’t ruin the experience, but the atmosphere would definitely be better if they were separate spaces. That said, the service was great, everyone was really friendly and welcoming. Parking is also pretty easy as long as it’s not super busy. Overall, I’d still recommend it, especially for the pastries and a simple coffee.

A friend of mine told me about this place so I decided to check it out one morning during the week. I immediately noticed a cleaning smell like a public restroom smell, definitely not the first impression I want of a coffee shop / bakery. I was also a bit surprised at how large the space is. My shoes made a noise as I walked over the floor which had a stickiness to it. Pretty surprised at this since it was so early in the day. The energy of the place just felt off, I don’t recall any nice music playing or anything. Kind of felt sterile and cold. The girl at the counter was friendly but didn’t attempt to ask me if I had questions or elaborate on any of the items. As I looked at the pastry items, I noticed they had no prices. Some of the items weren’t even labeled. I had to ask the price of a few things and ask what some of the items were. The girl and the second girl working didn’t seem concerned that a lot of things didn’t have labels! The second girl brought out the croissant roll things or “New York Roll” as they called them. I love anything pistachio and I decided to try the pistachio one. I didn’t have good feelings about it and I just wanted to leave but felt like I shouldn’

Absolutely delicious!! The cookie butter latte was one of the best lattes I’ve had. My friend really enjoyed the strawberry matcha she got too. We tried the chocolate hazelnut roll too which was divine 😋

Don't let the state of the parking lot deter you because the inside of the cafe is incredibly welcoming and spacious. Lots of beautiful pastries available (I recommend the almond croissant) and plenty of drink flavors that you won't find elsewhere, like a baklava latte. Service was quick and the baristas were friendly.
